| Welcome to Backwoods Primitives! My name is Jennie Rist and I would like to tell you a little bit about myself.

| I have lived in Liberty, Mo. all my life. I can't imagine living anyplace else! Since I was a little girl, Mom & I have gone to the Fall Festival every year. I can remember walking around town with her looking, buying, tasting & smelling everything and thinking to myself "Boy, when I grow up this is what I want to do!" Well, here I am! All grown up and living my dream!!

| I'm married to Bill, the love of my life & have 1 son, Thaddaeus and 1 step son, Bill. We have 2 "hairy" kids, Peanut, the dog & Jelly, the cat. We had a goldfish named Sammy The Sandwich but sadly he didn't stay around long.

| On the business side of life, I've been doing craftshows since 1986 and loved every minute of it. (except the loading & unloading part!) Now I have my web site which gives me the freedom to share my crafts with everyone! I still do the occasional craftshow though! I enjoy every aspect of crafting. Curling up on the couch with a pencil, eraser and blank sheets of paper & ending up with a new E-pattern for you!. Deciding what fabric to use for a dolls dress. Even the smell of fresh cut wood when using my scroll saw!
