Vaping

In the UK as well as other countries in the world, vaping is becoming increasingly popular. One of the main reasons that vaping is becoming so popular is that many smokers are trying it as an alternative to smoking tobacco cigarettes. Vaping is most easily done by using what are known as e-cigarettes and although the makers of these e-cigarettes do not promise that if you use them you will be able to quit smoking, many ex-smokers have found that they have quit due to using e-cigarettes.

Why smokers find it hard to quit smoking is because the nicotine in their cigarettes is addictive and their bodies cannot do without it. As e-cigarettes contain nicotine, they can suppress the need a smoker finds for a smoke but as the amount of nicotine in an e-cigarette is less than that in a tobacco cigarette, they can not only not be non-addictive but may even help a smoker to rid themselves of the addiction.

Even the best vape UK 2017 may not be without some health hazards though as tests are still underway on the effects of vaping but it is already known that vaping with e-cigarettes will not cause as many health concerns as tobacco cigarettes do and that is why they have not been banned from use anywhere.

Tobacco cigarettes have of course been banned from use in many places, especially public buildings. It was not the nicotine content that caused traditional cigarettes to be banned though; it was the other over 4000 chemicals which are released in tobacco smoke which were found to be potentially harmful even if breathed in as second hand smoke.

E-cigarettes do not have any of these chemicals and so the vapour which e-cigarettes produce is so far thought to be relatively harmless. It is perhaps because e-cigarettes have not been banned from use anywhere why traditional cigarette smokers are turning to them to relieve their yearning for a smoke whilst in an area where smoking is banned. Once a smoker has tried an e-cigarette whilst in a no- smoking area and found that it did dampen down their cravings, they often start to use them more and more often.

Some of the smokers that use e-cigarettes in this manner, find that they can soon do without a smoke all together and so successfully quit smoking, taking up using e-cigarettes instead. Currently there are over 2 million e-cigarette users in the UK but if for every new e-cigarette user it would mean there is one less smoker, it can only be a good thing for the country, its people and the atmosphere.

If therefore when you see people using e-cigarettes, do not feel annoyed, instead you should be pleased that more people are trying to keep our air cleaner by stopping smoking or at least trying to stop smoking. As there is not an addictive amount of nicotine in e-cigarettes, ex-smokers have even found that they can give up those within a few months as well.
